UPM affirms that Alcohol and drug misuse poses a threat to the health and safety of UPM employees, customers and visitors and to the security of the company’s equipment and facilities.
UPM supports employees who struggle with alcohol or drugs in pursuing the appropriate medical services and therapy required. In order to ensure a safe, healthy and productive work environment UPM enforces that:
- all employees at UPM ( irrespective of the type of contract signed) as well as those employed at UPM clients;
- subcontractors, affiliates and subsidiaries working at UPM;
- guests staying at UPM.
Comply with the company alcohol and drug policy (hereinafter: A&D Policy).
UP, commits to fully informing and familiarizing all the above mentioned groups with the A&D Policy which stands as an official integral company document. It is available and accessible at any time to every employee, subcontractor and company guest on request.
The A&D policy is interconnected with other official internal UPM policies and company protocols and is applicable to all UPM employees and UPM clients whose dealings affect alcohol, drugs and health and safety policies.
The A&D policy is fully aligned with Polish and international legislation as well as legal liability provisions.
